Linda Hotchkiss
I began fly fishing about 15 years ago. I am lucky enough to live in the northeastern United States surrounded by historic fly fishing rivers like the Beaverkill, Willowemoc, Housatonic and Farmington. My first fish on a fly was a 15 inch brown trout unfortunately, they have all not been as big.
I am currently President of the Juliana‘s Anglers a women‘s fly fishing club based in New York City.
I began tying flies in earnest about 5 years ago. I started with the basic trout flies and have moved on to streamers, saltwater and salmon files. At the show, I will be tying woven body trout flies. I love to travel and fly fishing and tying have provided me with opportunities to fish in Iceland, Norway, Scotland, and Australia. I have tied at the Dutch Fly Fair, the International Fly Tying Symposium in the United States and the British Fly Fair International.
