I started fishing at the age of 8 Trotting worms for anything I could catch on the river wear in Chester le street,
It wasn't until 3 years ago that I started fly fishing, My first ever session was at sharply springs in Seaham (co.durham) where I landed my first ever rainbow, taken a a small buzzer, that 1 fish got me well and truly hooked for life, now I spend almost all of my spare time fishing the river tees in Darlington searching for the brown trout and grayling.
My fly tying also started at the same time I started fly fishing with still water flies being my main quarry back then, now it's all about river flies with the drys being top of the list.
