Started fishing at 4 with my dad, mainly bait as too young to hold a fly rod. I began fly fishing when I was 8 on the river teith in Doune where my grandparents stayed all there day.
I began fly tying not long after that thanks too my brother not wanting a fly tying kit he was given as a present and I have never stopped since.
My main quarry is brown trout although I have fished for a lot of species, grayling being my second love too the browns though, I fish carron Valley alot because its got a great head of wild brown trout and cracking rainbows.
I also love river fishing Clyde, Annan, teviot, tweed to name a few but at the end of the day if it has fins I will fish for them.
