The competition aim is to celebrate images that reflect the skill, creative vision and originality of the photographer.
We welcome both fly fishing pictures and fly fishing related landscape images that reflect the action and or atmosphere of fly fishing, the wilderness and landscape in which we enjoy our sport.
Twelve finalists will be chosen from the 50 most liked photos on the Fly Fest Photo Comp Facebook Group. The best 12 photographs selected by our judges will take pride of place in the Fly Fest Calendar 2017, one picture for each month. The calendar will be sold in aid of a different fishing charity or trust each year. The winner and runners-up will be announced at the Fly Fest 2016.
To enter simply click the Enter Photo Comp button below, enter your details, and send us a JPEG file of 1-3 photos - your email address will only be used to get in touch and will not be published or passed onto any third parties.
The competition will have one overall winner voted for by members of the Fly Fest Photo Comp Facebook Group. Not only will their picture take pride of place on the cover of the calendar, they’ll also get something really cool. The person who takes the judges’ favourite photo will also get something cool.
You can send in up to 3 photos, which must be taken anywhere fish swim that will take a fly. If any more than 3 photos are submitted we will decide on the 3 to enter.
